gmt-doc-ps software package provides PostScript docs for the Generic Mapping Tools, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install gmt-doc-ps
gmt-doc-ps is installed in your system.
Make ensure the gmt-doc-ps package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gmt-doc-ps *
You will get with gmt-doc-ps package name, version, architecture and description in a table
